Review:
I went to see this movie with my wife and, upon entering the theater, immediately became uncomfortable. Only one person in the program who is obviously feeling a bit out of place as well (though he seemed relieved to see that it works). I've been waiting for a teen soap opera, but what the film was quite different delivery. This film is like a modern woman Mass on time or a little girl teen version of Dead Poets Society. In other words, it is something I have not seen any signs for decades .... intelligent drama aimed at teenagers. My first response to this film is similar to how I felt after seeing the baby. I know this is a strange comparison, but both were thoughtful and intelligent films aimed at a target audience that is usually fed garbage film. The elements of a good film-making are on full display here. Acting Executive stronger, make sure problems, excellent writing .... everything that makes a great movie. If you are a teenager or have one in your life, this is absolutely a must-see movie. If not, you still have a good time.
