Review:
What do you say? Ghostbusters, one of the most financially successful comedies and most sensational of the eighties, undervalued? If precicely because it was much hyped and made a lot of money, there was a stigma attached to this movie identify it as a piece of FX kids, when it is nothing of the sort. Most people remember lines (He slimed me, OK. Then? She's a dog, when someone asks you if you're a god, you say yes!) Is not su lines more graceful or wittiest, which often lose the first or second viewing. I laugh every time I see a joke, or a joke that I missed the other 20 times I saw a scene, Egon, this reminds me of the time we tried to make a hole in your head, Remember that? This will work if you had not left me, and the driver of a van hospice, leave or pick up? Ghostbusters Brilliant. Not only fun, it can include some really creepy scenes. And not only lose popcorn moments that damn cooler, but also scenes of quiet, cold thoughtful as Egon recounts how the building came to be possessed, or remember Winston Revelation. What other film has managed to combine Marx Brothers with HP Lovecraft? The special effects hold up well, apart from some obvious studio sets and models, but what really creates this world of film photography is amazing. Manhattan, perhaps the peak of development of Gothic architecture, is brilliantly used here to create a sense of grandeur looming. Having seen Ghostbusters I could not imagine the Kingdom of the ancient gods which opens to our world from a different place. The soundtrack is good, not overrated problem (which actually was raised from Huey Lewis I Need A New Drug), but the amazing blusey Cleaning up the town, creepy chiller Magic proto-techno and also points fabulous night and really regretted Elmer Bernstein.
