Review:
I just got back from watching a special preview of the help that will be released in theaters this summer. Ok, so here's the truth: I'm a middle-aged white man ... I have not read the book and found, based on the fact that it is almost all female cast, it was kind of chick flick. Boy was I wrong! This is an amazing film that not only pays justice to the bestseller based (according to those who have read the book and seen the movie), but the phenomenal cast of exceptional performances Viola Davis, Emma Stone, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard and Allison Janney. Veteran actress Sissy Spacek and Cicely Tyson also deliver incredible performances. Although the nature of Tysons is the key to history, including its role in what seems to be a few precious minutes running time 2:20, it provides, in my opinion, one of the most powerful and poignant moments in the film dia ... one in which she did not even utter the line (trust me, you'll know when you see it.) Help also has some very funny moment laugh. I'll go so far as to say that the movie and some of his cast members will draw some Oscar nominations. I definitely think it has a stone in a whole new racial inequality tour 1963 is well illustrated for help, and no doubt point out how far the U.S. has come and how little progress has been made over the past 50 years. In any case, this is a powerful film that should appear on the big screen as soon as you get a ticket.
