Of course, this movie had a lot of hype and as the movie can live up to everything .... blah blah blah. Even if the film is a bit of a disappointment. This video shows that it is not just special FX, which made Star Wars fun to watch. It is as if George Lucas was so impressed by what he could do CGI effects that he forgot what the original trilogy so great, which is writing and characters. Not a bad movie, but there are problems many.I-Many people forgive the film for being weak as they say this is only the first in a trilogy and this is just another creation of everything to follow. Wrong Wrong Wrong, this film should have its own movie first, the three other films were. He must have good characters and some interesting story .... This didnt. conflict in the story revolves around trade dispute and the fate of the planet Naboo. Does anyone really care about it? Details of the case are somewhat vague, resulting in not enough to generate real interest in us root for a particular page. Important Darth Sideous conflict and its growth is kept far, far away in the background. We do not even know why Darth Maul Jedis hates so much .... It just does. Lucas probably wanted it like Boba Fett Darth Maul (silent and mysterious). It works with Boba Fett, because he was only supporting character, not the main villain. This film really does not have a clear villain. I wish someone has the courage and just said that his story was basic Lucas lousy. one does not look particularly happy in this film. Qui-Gon is really the only character that can be related to, and even that is quite distant. Acts queen, mannequin many scenes like her (and like it). Obi-Wan Kenobi goes through the entire film without effect, and not saying anything interesting. The characters never seem to talk about anything but the plot (as opposed to the first film). C-3PO and R2-D2 were pretty useless. The Jedi Council is seen as extremely cold and buracratic. And I'll never understand why he wrote Annakin as a child in grade school in this film. It should be teenager. His scenes with the queen were uncomfortable. Even if he does not intend to discuss other things Jar.Various Jar ...-what appears midochlorians newly tacked on. In the race was fun because it was a light saber fight at the end. They are all very nice special effects. I hope that Lucas just had writers block when he wrote it. Maybe you remember what other movies so good at the time of Episode II. Although it appears to have failed title.
