Exquisite production ... I wonder how much Ive been affected by the impact of the various armchair critics of the thumb. However, there may be little effect of the defendants in this movie because I am a true fan of the sword and sandals classics.In Looking back, I would not be surprised people that the whole film was shot, the green screen set, but it was so masterful ( or at least distract) you do not think of dramatic skies and wheat fields, is fed in. In fact, the whole, CG aspect was clear what the Matrix and Lord of the Rings series could not do completely.The stylization effects, such as shadows deepened radiant shine and slow motion sequences seemed to movies shown stressed roots, and sometimes, when I found I'd like to see more clearly, I have always found great satisfaction and immersion into the story. I think that without compromising the story line will require more processing and turned a piece of art to another kind of gladiator-alike.This film will be on my list was when I found it very pleasant to watch, inspiring, and I never tire of looking at (finally) scantily clad men, especially Gerard. Royal Leonidas figure, dressed in red, and the warriors of Sparta, reminds me of the class warrior King George Naders science fiction Chrome. Romantically idealized, are a simplified view of virtue and honor his pure style appear directly hero.Of of course, the villain was as idealized and have a complaint. No one likes the bad guys without explanation, and may have thought that the studio Persian god was sufficient explanation. I would have enjoyed a much more developed Xerxes, but Ru Paul did a great job at hand. Just kidding. Rodrigo Santoro was excellent, as big and bad as the comic scenes, and does a good job withstand much smaller meetings Spartans.The King was a good script and strong enough in all makes for 8 rating, but as promised, tanned man with a strong chin gives him 10 We need more movies like this.
